HI! a FOAF wanted me to post her expereince to the internet so you all out
there can be more informed   :)

This is what she wrote:

I smoked three tiny crystals of 5-meo at 5:00pm. I sat down and began to
notice a rather intense flushing feelinf that was most pronounced in my
hands. Very intense semi-hallucinations appeared, mainly things like
surface shimmering. Then it got real intense. Time seemed to suspend
itself into infinite. I became aware of a "matrix" behind the normal
reality. Behind all objects in my surroundings the matrix seemed to absorb
the materialty and energy of the objects. I noticed an increase in heart
rate.

The person with me kept asking me if I was alright...but I could not
answer. At one point the person took a picture of me. The flash seemed to
tunnel out of the camera in burst of light which seemed to last a rather
long time (alot longer than a normal flash).

I guess I was in some kind of trance. When I started to come to I kept
asking how much time had passed. I was really worried that the effects
where too much and that it was not going to go away. All in all the peak
lasted about six minutes. By ten minutes I was able to walk around.

This type of pychedelic experience is one that I cannot really explain all
that well. I guess I could say that it is definately unlike anything I
have ever experienced. It was VERY intense. VERY intense. It was as if you
took a large amount of Strotophorius and compacted the trip into five
minutes.

I don't think I had any 'visions', atleast I dont really remember. It was
a rather frightening experience, interwoven with feeling of absolute
astounishment. I could not believe that something could be so intense.

Next I am going to mix up a batch of pengalum harmala and p. viridis
leaves, and perhaps some phalaris extract, and a little bit of 5-meo. I
have to be honest and say that I am apprehensive of the reaction this will
cause. The DMT and 5-MEO trip is unlike anything. I hear that the typical
ayahuasca trip lasts about 4 hours. If this trip is anything like the
smoked 5-meo trip, I can only wonder what will happen.

oh...by the way..I took my blood pressure as soon as I came to...and found
that it was rather high...like 180/115

that high BP went away in about 15 minutes after all the effects had
subsided.

I warn anyone who is going to try this-

the effects of 5-meo are not *fun*
it is unlike any hallucinagen I have ever encountered and should be used
cautiously and with someone how is educated and able to deal with any kind
of crisis situation that may arise.

WELL- thats mary's experience in a nut shell. She is not that good at
elaborating all the details, and quite frankly I don't think she remembers
them that well.
